Pleg + screw

There was a picture were a axle with a Pleg on ripped of and now comes this...

Take a ledge, add an almost new Pleg and combine it with a screw which sometimes tends to stick out of these ledges. What you get is this Pleg which got relieved from a big part of its mass.

Coincidence? Bad luck? Standard? What's your experience with plastic pegs
