FlyBikes Front Hub

Everyone has probably already seen the prototype and hated Flybikes for taking so long again- they are sorry for it and already sent the hub to all distributers.

It will probably take another 4 weeks until the containers reach Europe.

Technically the hub is very hot and seems perfect. The flanges are very small to save weight, but, of course, the spokes will have to be longer, which will add weight again. The distance between the flanges is bigger to increase the lacing strength.

The axle as well as the hub body are made of 7075 aluminum. The axle is an one piece design which makes assembling and disassembling easier; it also saves weight. Well, it weights 210g which is absolutely OK for a hub that looks that trustworthy.
