Those Colony pedals or how design meets light-weight

After we all learned a lot about plastic, we all know, like most other materials, plastic offers all kinds of color and design options.
So you can beat the weight of other plastic pedals but at the same time create a pedal that doesn't really appeal to everyone. While the transparent pedals weight 352g a pair, the white weight only 312g which could be a highlight for many a tuner.
You can find a lot of pics on the colony home page, before I copy every one of them on here. The non transparent look like a really cheap toy "made in China". At least the transparent look a little more of higher quality. Up to know Colony's design has always been top notch, but they have been disappointing since the first pictures of the pedals showed up.
